ABOUT THE FILM
Clotilda, a once insecure and anxious teenager, has a mission to inspire others to free their voice and be themselves. But she knows she must lead by example before she can make any real impact.

With a passion for performing, Clotilda sets out on a journey of self-discovery and resilience. She works relentlessly to overcome anxiety as she recovers from a two-year-long episode of extreme OCD and a relationship that nearly costs her her entire sense of self worth. It's through this journey that she learns the power of embracing the things that bring her total presence.
With the world in turmoil at the start of the 2020 pandemic, Clotilda takes the leap and starts filming her journey on TikTok and sharing her findings with the world. Amassing over 300,000 followers, she cultivates a community of dreamers wanting to also overcome their fears of being themselves.

But her journey doesn’t end there. Clotilda has one last fear to conquer: her love for singing. With courage and determination, she starts writing her own music, learning guitar, and moves to Kansas City, Missouri where she learns from the best musicians in the city.
This is the story of Clotilda’s journey to self-expression, resilience, and the power of embracing one’s true self. A story that will inspire, uplift, and leave you with a newfound appreciation for the power of the human spirit.
This is One Day.
"So much of the footage from this film I was too scared to ever post out of fear it wasn’t good enough. Or that I was awkward. Or that people would be able to pick up on my insecurities. I’m so happy I am finally giving that Clotilda her moment. Flaws and all. There are moments in this film that are difficult for me to sit through without cringing. And I know that will be the same for many people who watch it. That’s okay with me. We HAVE to see the process that goes into this stuff. Too often we only see the final product - someone with 10 million followers who just seems naturally amazing at speaking, is funny, and is confident in every word that comes out of their mouth. Or the image of the perfect pop star - an amazing voice, beautiful, popular and a “perfect” body (thick or thin, somehow we always manage to assume that their body is better than ours). I could attain all the success in the world and none of it matters if no one has a blueprint to use. That doesn’t mean just talking about it. That means showing it, no matter how uncomfortable it might be. I can confidently say that releasing this film is something that makes me pretty freaking uncomfortable. And that’s how I know I’m doing the right thing." - CLOTILDA DEMAURO. FOUNDER OF BIGCOUCH
